Fast Opening 2K Set Up a Strong Top-16% Finish Rohan covered 5.00 km in 23:16, averaging 4:39/km. He finished 872nd of 5,624 overall, placing him in the top 16% of the field, and 106th in the M3135 division. His quickest section came early: 4:16 for the first kilometre, followed by 4:18, giving him an 8:33 opening 2K at 4:17/km. Through 2 km he had moved up to 565th overall, his best position of the race. The second half was slower, with kilometres of 4:43, 5:05, and 4:56. As a coachs note, the early pace was clearly there; a slightly more even effort after 2 km could help him carry that speed deeper into future 5Ks. Run The Wharfs evening closed-road format in Canary Wharf suited a quick start, and he made good use of it early.
