Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Faustine Von Kanel #7927 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Fast Start Set Up a Solid Sub-24 5K Faustine ran 5.00 km in 23:37, averaging 4:43/km. She placed 200th female out of 5,624 overall finishers, with a strong opening kilometre of 4:30/km. Through 2 km she was still averaging 4:35/km, showing good early speed on a closed-road evening 5K through Canary Wharf. Her pacing then settled into a narrow range: 4:50, 4:49, and 4:48/km across the final 3 km. That consistency kept the overall average close to her early pace, though the first kilometre was notably quicker than the rest. As a coachs note, a slightly more even first 2 km could help her hold that early rhythm deeper into the race and trim more time from an already solid performance.
