Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Scott Clothier #4446 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Fast 5K with strong age-group result and steady pacing Scott ran 17:01 for 5.00 km, averaging 3:24/km. He placed 68th overall out of 5,624, 11th male, and 2nd in the male 3135 division. That age-group finish stands out, and he was also part of Kraken Technologies at this evening Canary Wharf race. His opening 2 km were especially sharp at 6:42 total, exactly 3:21/km for both kilometres. Through 3 km he was still at 10:06, averaging 3:22/km. The fourth kilometre dipped to 3:33, then he responded well with a 3:23 final kilometre. As a coachs note, maintaining the early 3:213:22/km rhythm a little deeper into the race could turn a strong run into an even faster one.
