After opening with 5:49 for the first kilometre, the middle section settled at 6:00 and 6:06 before returning to 6:00. The final kilometre was her quickest at 5:28, bringing her average pace down to 5:52/km. That late acceleration stands out and suggests a little more even pacing through kilometres 24 could lead to a faster overall time at future 5Ks.
