Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Ioannis Harvey #933 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Strong Start, Steady Middle, Fast Finish Ioannis covered 5.00 km in 25:20, averaging 5:04/km. He finished 1,353rd of 5,624 overall, placing in roughly the top 24% of the field, and 873rd among men. His opening and closing kilometres were his quickest at 4:57 and 4:58, with the middle section settling at 5:00, 5:14, and 5:12. This was a controlled 5K with a solid finish after the slower third and fourth kilometres. He gained places early, moving from 1,416th at 1 km to 1,304th at 2 km, then held position well through 4 km before a slight drop late. The key improvement area is maintaining the early rhythm through kilometres 3 and 4; matching the first two kilometres more closely would lower the overall time. Run The Wharfs evening closed-road format suited a quick opener and a composed final kilometre.
