That gave her a quicker final kilometre than km 3 and km 4, a useful sign of finishing strength. She placed 152nd in the Female 3135 category out of a 5,624-runner field. This evening Canary Wharf 5K is built for pace, and Mariams data shows a race with one standout surge in the middle before settling back near overall average pace. As a coachs note, the biggest opportunity is pacing consistency across the full 5 km: holding closer to that closing kilometre earlier in the race would likely bring down the overall time.
