Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Vishal Panchal #2770 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Strong Finish Moved Him Up the Field Vishal completed the 5K in 38:31, averaging 7:42/km, and finished 3,601st of 5,624. In the male standings he was 1,788th, and 339th in the M31-35 division. Through 4 km he ran 35:41 at 8:55/km average, then closed the final kilometre-plus quickly to bring his overall pace down by 1:13/km. His opening 4 km were steady rather than even: 8:35, 8:56, 9:12, and 9:00 per km. The standout stat is the finish, which improved his overall placing by 171 spots from 4 km to the line, while gaining 35 places among men and 2 in his age group. That late surge is a good asset on a fast evening 5K course through Canary Wharf; the next step is to aim for a more controlled middle section so the strong finish has even more impact.
