Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Damian Harvey #4434 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Quick Opening Kilometre Set Up a Solid 5K Damian ran 5.00 km in 30:33, averaging 6:06/km. He placed 96th of 46-50 men, 1462nd male, and 2568th overall out of 5624. That puts him in the top half of the field overall, a solid outcome at a large evening 5K through Canary Wharf. His fastest kilometre was the first in 5:14, followed by 6:00, 6:23, 6:44, and 6:15. The strongest stat is the recovery in the final kilometre, improving from 6:44 to 6:15 after the slowest section. As a coachs note, the opening kilometre was well ahead of overall pace; a slightly more even effort across the middle 3 km could help him hold closer to 6:00-6:10/km deeper into the race.
