Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Parichehr Malek Mokhtari #5985 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Strong opening kilometre and a solid late rebound Parichehr covered 5.00 km in 37:39, averaging 7:31/km. She placed 193rd in the Female 3640 division and finished ahead of roughly 37% of the 5,624-runner field. Her fastest kilometre came first at 6:57, and she closed well with a 7:20 final kilometre after splits of 7:30, 7:50 and 8:04 through the middle section. That pattern suggests good early speed and a useful response late in the race. The main opportunity is pacing the middle 2 km more evenly to stay closer to her opening and closing rhythm. In an event built for fast evening 5Ks through Canary Wharf, finishing with her second-fastest kilometre was a notable stat.
