Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Oliver Hounslow #4426 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Strong Finish and Well-Paced 5K Oliver ran 5.00 km in 21:59, averaging 4:24/km at Run The Wharf in London. He finished 612th of 5,624 overall, placing in roughly the top 11% of the field, and 79th in the Male 1825 category. This closed-road evening 5K through Canary Wharf suited a quick, controlled effort. His pacing was steady through 4 km: 4:23, 4:32, 4:33, and 4:31, before a standout final kilometre in 4:02. He gained 67 overall places in that last kilometre alone, moving from 679th to 612th. That late surge was the key stat of the race. With a slightly stronger middle section, he could bring the average pace closer to the closing pace and lower the overall time further.
