Fast Start and Strong Sub-20 Finish Cherelle Clarke completed the 5K in 19:48, averaging 3:57/km. She placed 29th female and 13th in the female 2630 division, finishing inside the top 6% overall in a field of 5,624. Representing SAP, she delivered a sub-20 result at Run The Wharfs evening closed-road 5K through Canary Wharf. Her opening 2 km were especially sharp at 3:49 and 3:53, reaching 2 km in 7:41. The middle section eased to 4:02/km and 4:10/km, then she closed well with a 3:56 final kilometre. That late rebound is a good sign. As a coachs note, maintaining a little more control through kilometres 3 and 4 could support an even faster overall time next time.
