Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Loktuz Zaman #7990 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Steady Opening, Mid-Race Gain, Then Faded Late Loktuz covered 5.00 km in 37:04, averaging 7:24/km. He placed 3,516th of 5,624 overall, 1,760th male, and 252nd in the mens 3640 division. His fastest kilometre was the first in 6:53/km, and he improved position through 2 km, moving up to 3,333rd overall and 240th in division. In a big-field Canary Wharf evening 5K, that early gain stood out. From there, pace drifted to 7:41, 7:25, and 7:51/km across the final 3 km. The first 2 km averaged 7:05/km; the last 3 km averaged 7:39/km. That points to a solid start with the main opportunity in holding pace deeper into the race. A slightly more even effort after 2 km would likely improve the overall time next outing.
