Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Chandler Clark #1103 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Fast Start, Then Settled Into Strong 4:24/km Running He finished this 5K in 22:04, averaging 4:24/km. That placed him 631st of 5,624 overall, putting him well inside the top 12% of the field. He was 398th male and 127th in the male 2630 division. Running with the Financial Conduct Authority, he opened quickly with a 4:03 first kilometre. After that, he settled into a steady rhythm: 4:37, 4:38, then closed with matching 4:24 kilometres for km 4 and 5. That final 2km was his strongest sustained section after the opening burst, showing good control late in the race. For a quicker overall time next time, the clearest opportunity is to smooth the early pacing slightly so more of the race sits near that closing 4:24/km level.
