Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Adrian Harris #2499 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Strong Finish and Steady 5K Execution Adrian ran 5.00 km in 26:21, averaging 5:16/km. He finished 1,600th of 5,624 overall, placing 142nd in the M36-40 division. His km splits were consistent through 4 km: 5:25, 5:19, 5:17, and 5:20, showing good control early and through the middle of the race. The standout stat was the final kilometre in 5:03, his quickest of the day and 22 seconds faster than his first kilometre. He moved up from 1,851st at 1 km to 1,577th by 3 km, holding that position through 4 km before finishing 1,600th overall. That late pace suggests he had more to give; a slightly quicker opening kilometre could help bring the overall time down next time.
