Fast Opening Km Set Up a Solid 5K Finish She completed the 5K in 30:51, averaging 6:10/km. Her opening kilometre was her quickest at 5:25/km, and she reached 2K in 11:38. Through 4K she held a steady range, with kilometres 25 covered between 6:13/km and 6:32/km. In a field of 5,624, she finished 2,641st overall. This was a strong start followed by a fairly even rhythm across the middle and final stages. The main opportunity is to smooth out the gap from the fast first kilometre to the rest of the race, which could help her hold closer to 6:00/km deeper into the run. Run The Wharfs closed-road evening format in Canary Wharf suited a quick opening, and she still kept the final 4K controlled.
