Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Parth Patel #1404 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Strong Finish and Well-Paced 5K He completed the 5K in 26:44, averaging 5:20/km. Among 5,624 runners, he finished 1,688th overall and 62nd in the M46-50 division. His pacing was steady through 4km: 5:22, 5:27, 5:32, then back to 5:22/km, before closing with his fastest kilometre at 5:04. That final kilometre was the standout stat of the race and improved his overall placing from 1,874 at 1km to 1,688 at the finish. He also moved from 66th to 62nd in his age group by 2km and held near that mark. As a coachs note, the finishing speed suggests there may be scope to press a little earlier in the middle kilometres while keeping that strong close.
