Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Akbar Khan #6101 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Strong Start and Fast Finish Over 5K Akbar covered 5.00 km in 45:25, averaging 9:05/km at Run The Wharf in London. He placed 154th in the Male 4145 division and finished ahead of roughly 32% of the 5,624 starters overall. His quickest kilometres were the opening and closing 1 km, both under 8:00/km, a useful sign that he had early rhythm and still had finishing speed late. The race pattern was clear: 7:59, 8:46, 10:23, 10:21, then 7:58 per km. He gained places through 2 km, moving from 157th to 152nd in his age group, before settling back to 154th by the finish. The standout stat is the closing kilometre matching the first almost exactly. As a coachs note, holding the middle 2 km closer to that early pace would bring the overall time down well.
