Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Maria Paula Robles #7880 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Fast Opening 1K Set Up a Solid 5K Finish Maria Paula Robles completed the 5K in 27:20, averaging 5:28/km. She placed 1,844th of 5,624 overall, 527th among women, and 178th in the womens 2630 division. Her fastest kilometre was the first in 4:22, putting her inside the top 1,000 overall early on. The pacing trend was clear: 4:22, 5:20, 5:53, 5:57, and 5:49 per km. After the very quick start, she settled closer to the mid-to-high 5:00s/km and slightly recovered in the final kilometre. For a closed-road evening 5K through Canary Wharf, that strong opening speed is a useful asset; a more even effort across kilometres could help convert it into a faster overall time next race.
