He placed 101st in the mens 4650 division and finished ahead of roughly 48% of the 5,624 starters overall. His pacing was steady across the full distance, with each kilometre falling between 6:15/km and 6:40/km. The standout stat was the closing trend: after opening in 6:26, he ran 6:40, 6:40, 6:26, then finished with his quickest kilometre at 6:15. He also improved his division position from 106th at 1K to 98th by 3K and 4K before settling at 101st. That late acceleration is a good sign; if he can bring a little more of that 5th kilometre pace into the middle section, there is clear scope to lower the overall time at this fast evening Canary Wharf 5K.
