Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Faisal Nisar #1981 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Steady 5K with a Strong Closing Kilometre Faisal covered 5.00 km in 28:43, averaging 5:44/km. In a field of 5,624, he placed 81st in the Male 4650 category. His pacing was consistent early: 5:38 for both the 1st and 2nd km, followed by 5:53 and 5:56 through km 3 and 4, before finishing with a quicker 5:39 final kilometre. That closing km stands out and shows he had good finishing strength after a small mid-race fade. His best category position came at 76th through 3 km and 4 km, so holding the 5:385:39/km rhythm a little longer would likely improve the overall result. Run The Wharfs closed-road Canary Wharf 5K is built for rhythm, and he still produced a controlled, even effort across the distance.
