Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Aditya Agarwal #871 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Fast Opening Kilometre Set Up a Strong 5K Aditya ran 5.00 km in 23:31, averaging 4:42/km. He finished 932nd of 5,624 overall, placing in roughly the top 17% of the field. Among men, he was 604th, and 119th in the Male 1825 category. Racing with Canary Wharf Run Club, he delivered a solid performance at an event known for its fast evening 5K through Canary Wharf. His quickest kilometre was the first in 4:18, followed by 4:40, 4:57, 4:45, and 4:53. Through 4 km, he held 835th overall before the final kilometre. The main stat to build on is pacing: the opening kilometre was 35 seconds quicker than his average pace, and the pace drift from 4:18 to 4:53 suggests a more even start could help him sustain speed deeper into the race.
