Fast Finish After a Steady Middle Jenna ran 5.00 km in 26:25, averaging 5:17/km. She placed 437th of 5,624 women and 78th in the female 3135 division. Her opening 2 km were consistent at 5:11 and 5:15, reaching 2 km in 10:26. The middle section eased to 5:30 and 5:31, before she closed strongly with her fastest kilometre of the race at 5:00. That late surge pulled her overall pace back down and improved her overall placing slightly by the finish. In an evening 5K built for speed through Canary Wharf, that finishing strength stands out. As a coaching note, holding a little more of the early rhythm through kilometres 3 and 4 could bring her closer to a sub-26 result.
