Strong start and solid late rebound over 5K Pareen completed the 5K in 29:35, averaging 5:55/km. She placed 2,369th of 5,624 overall, 807th among women, and 256th in the female 2630 division. Her opening 2km was her quickest segment at 11:16 total, averaging 5:38/km, with the fastest individual kilometre at 5:34. From 2km to 4km, pace eased to 6:25/km and 6:16/km, before she closed well with a 5:39 final kilometre. That late pickup is a useful marker: she regained pace well after the slower middle section. In a fast evening 5K through Canary Wharf, that finishing strength stands out. For the next race, aiming to hold the early rhythm a little deeper into kilometres 3 and 4 could bring down the overall average pace.
