That late pickup is a useful positive in an evening 5K built for speed through Canary Wharf. She finished 3,706th of 5,624 overall, 1,686th female, and 500th in the female 2630 division. The clearest trend was the slowdown from km 1 to km 4 before regaining pace in km 5. As a coachs note: the finish shows good reserve, so a more even effort across the middle kilometres could bring the average pace down next time.
