Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Dalia Fraga Martinez #1752 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Fast 5K with Consistent Kilometre Control Dalia ran 5.00 km in 23:24, averaging 4:40/km. She finished 900th of 5,624 overall, 182nd female, and 62nd in the Female 1825 division. Her quickest kilometre was km 2 in 4:33, and she closed well with a 4:37 final kilometre to match her opening 4:37. Her pacing was steady across the full race: 4:37, 4:33, 4:52, 4:46, 4:37. That gave her just a 19-second spread between fastest and slowest kilometres, a solid sign of control. The main opportunity is the middle section, where km 34 drifted slightly versus the opening 2 km. Tightening that patch could bring the overall average closer to her early pace on another fast evening 5K through Canary Wharf.
