Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Paris Dexter #581 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Fast Start, Strong Age-Group Result Paris covered 5.00 km in 21:19, averaging 4:15/km. She placed 21st in the Female 1825 division, 68th female, and 497th of 5,624 overall. That puts her in roughly the top 10% overall, and she held her division place late despite the large field. Her opening kilometre was the quickest at 4:02, followed by steady 4:17, 4:18, 4:26, and 4:18 splits. Through 3 km she was averaging 4:12/km, so the main time loss came in kilometre 4 before she recovered well in the final kilometre. From a coaching view, that rebound is a positive; a slightly more even middle section could help bring the overall pace closer to the early rhythm on another fast evening 5K through Canary Wharf.
