Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Alix Lebreton #7870 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Strong finish with a faster final kilometre Alix completed the 5K in 27:47, averaging 5:33/km. She finished 62nd in the female 3640 division and 580th among women, in a field of 5,624. In an event built for fast evening running through Canary Wharf, her pacing stayed controlled for most of the race. Her first 4km were very steady: 5:35, 5:36, 5:46, and 5:36/km, reaching 4km in 22:31. The standout stat was the final kilometre in 5:16/km, 20 seconds per km quicker than her overall average. She also moved up from 71st to 60th in her division by 2km before settling at 62nd. For future races, bringing that finishing speed slightly earlier could lower the overall time further.
