Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Ayanfe Coker #523 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Quick Opening, Solid 5K Finish Ayanfe ran 5.00km in 23:26, averaging 4:41/km. He finished 908th of 5,624 overall, placing in roughly the top 16% of the field. In the Male 1825 category, he was 117th, and his best in-race position came at 2km, when he was 743rd overall and 95th in category. His first 2km set the tone at 4:25 and 4:34, reaching 2km in 8:58. The middle of the race slowed to 4:45 and 5:01 before he closed the final kilometre in 4:43. That late response was a positive sign. For the next 5K, aiming to hold the early rhythm a little longer could help bring the overall average closer to the first-half pace on this fast evening Canary Wharf course.
