Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Alice Armstrong #5363 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Strong finish with a faster final kilometre Alice covered 5.00 km in 29:27, averaging 5:53/km at Run The Wharf in Canary Wharf. She finished 789th of 5,624 women overall and 246th in the Female 2630 division. Her opening 2 km were steady at 5:49/km and 5:50/km, putting her inside the top 2,255 overall at that stage. Through the middle of the race, pace eased to 6:06/km for both km 3 and km 4, before she closed well with her quickest kilometre at 5:38/km. That late pickup was the standout stat and shows good finishing speed. For the next 5K, the clearest opportunity is to hold closer to her early pace through the middle kilometres, which would support a faster overall time on this quick evening city course.
