Her pacing was consistent through 4km: 5:25, 5:22, 5:26, and 5:23 per km, then she closed strongly with a quickest final kilometre of 5:01. A notable stat is how much ground she gained early and mid-race, moving from 1891st at 1km to 1670th by 3km, then finishing 1658th. That combination of control and a fast last kilometre is a strong sign of good race management. As a coachs note, there may be scope to press slightly earlier over the middle kilometres, given how much speed she still had available at the end.
