Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Callum Hare De Villoutreys #6699 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Fast Start, Strong Finish for a Sub-20 5K Callum ran 5.00 km in 19:05, averaging 3:49/km. He finished 206th of 5,624, placing in the top 4% overall, and was 96th male and 30th in the male 2630 division. His opening kilometre was his quickest at 3:40, and he closed well with a 3:46 final kilometre. The middle of the race eased from 3:51 to 3:57/km across kilometres 24 before he picked the pace back up late. That late rebound is a useful positive on a fast evening 5K through Canary Wharf. For the next outing, aiming for slightly steadier pacing through the middle kilometres could help convert that strong finish into a quicker overall time.
