Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Louis Moorcraft #6748 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Strong finish with improving pace throughout Louis completed the 5K in 25:55, averaging 5:11/km. He placed 1483rd of 5624 overall, putting him ahead of roughly 74% of the field, and 945th among men. In the Male 2630 category, he finished 270th. Representing JP Morgan Trading Services, he delivered a solid run at an event known for its fast evening streets through Canary Wharf. His pacing improved well across the race: 5:37, 5:00, 5:13, 5:13, then a fastest final kilometre of 4:54. He moved up from 2013rd at 1 km to 1483rd at the finish, gaining 530 places overall. That closing kilometre stands out and suggests he had more to give after the opening 1 km; a slightly quicker start, while keeping control, could help lower his overall time next time.
