Quick Opening, Then a Steady 5K Finish Li completed the 5K in 30:00, averaging 6:00/km. She covered the first kilometre in 5:26/km, then ran 5:45, 6:22, 6:18, and 6:11/km to the finish. That gave her a 56-second difference between fastest and slowest kilometres, with the opening 2km reached in 11:10 and 3km in 17:31. Among 5,624 runners, she finished 2,449th overall. Her early position was stronger through 1km (2,001st overall) before settling later in the race. This was a clear positive start on a fast evening 5K course through Canary Wharf. For the next race, aiming to hold the first kilometre a little closer to 5K average pace could help her keep more even splits across the full distance.
