Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Hannah Honeywood #2524 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Strong finish with a faster final 2K Hannah ran 5.00 km in 29:26, averaging 5:53/km. She finished 2,336th of 5,624 overall, 784th female, and 245th in the female 2630 category. Through 3 km she was at 18:13 (6:04/km average), then closed well over the final 2 km in 11:13, which is 5:37/km. Her kilometre splits were 5:57, 6:00, 6:17, 5:52, and 5:22. The standout stat is the progression late in the race: after the third kilometre, she cut 25 seconds in km 4 and then another 30 seconds in km 5. That finishing speed suits an event like this fast evening Canary Wharf 5K. Next step: aim to bring km 3 closer to the pace of km 12 to turn the strong close into an even quicker overall time.
