Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Daniel Crane #4285 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Fast Finish and Consistent 5K Execution Daniel ran 5.00 km in 19:02, averaging 3:48/km. He placed 201st of 5,624 overall, 91st male, and 17th in the male 1825 division. That put him in roughly the top 3.6% of the field overall, a strong result in a large evening 5K built for quick running through Canary Wharf. His pacing was steady across each kilometre: 3:46, 3:46, 3:52, 3:56, then a quickest closing kilometre of 3:44. He improved from 227th at 1 km to 201st at the finish, gaining 26 places overall, including one place in his age group late on. The main opportunity is the middle section from 34 km, where pace drifted slightly before a very solid closing response.
