Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Angelina Rodrigues #983 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Strong negative split with a fast closing kilometre Angelina ran 5.00 km in 25:37, averaging 5:07/km. She finished 357th woman and 99th in the female 1825 category, placing 1422nd of 5624 overall. In a fast evening 5K through Canary Wharf, her pacing stood out: each kilometre was quicker than the last. Her splits were 5:20, 5:14, 5:09, 5:08, and 4:47 per km. That is a 33-second improvement from first to last kilometre, with the final kilometre 20 seconds faster than her overall average pace. As a coachs note, this finish shows strong control; a slightly quicker opening kilometre could help unlock an even faster overall time.
