Strong finish with your quickest closing kilometre Khadija completed the 5K in 34:14, averaging 6:50/km. She covered the UK-standard 5.00 km with a very steady middle section: 6:51, 6:53, 6:55 and 6:59/km through the first 4 km, then closed fastest in 6:38/km. That late surge was a standout stat and shows good finishing strength. She placed 160th in the Female 3640 division and finished ahead of a large part of the field in a 5,624-runner event. Position gains through 3 km were notable, moving from 169th to 157th in her age group before the final kilometre. From a coaching perspective, the strongest opportunity is to bring that final-kilometre pace earlier into the race; if she can hold closer to her closing speed for longer, there is clear potential to lower this 5K time.
