Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Alexandre Jolivet #309 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Fast Start, Strong Finish, Sub-4:05/km Average Alexandre covered 5.00 km in 20:24, averaging 4:04/km. He finished 376th of 5,624 overall, 213th male, and 46th in the M3135 division. That placed him well inside the top 7% of the field overall. In an evening 5K built for speed through Canary Wharf, he opened quickly with a 3:57 first kilometre. After that, his middle kilometres were steady at 4:07, 4:12, and 4:11, before he closed well with a 3:59 final kilometre. He gained 43 places from 1 km to the finish, including 10 places in the last kilometre alone. As a coachs note: the speed is clearly there, and a slightly more even distribution after the fast opening could help convert that strong finish into a few more seconds overall.
