Strong opening kilometre and a solid closing finish Jin covered 5.00 km in 40:50, averaging 8:10/km at Run The Wharf in Canary Wharf. She opened with her quickest kilometre at 6:56/km, reached 2 km in 15:56, and held an overall position near the mid-3600s for much of the race before finishing 3730th of 5624. Her pacing settled after the fast start: 9:01, 8:40 and 8:21/km through the middle 3 km, then improved to 7:55/km for the final kilometre. That closing kilometre was her second-fastest of the day and a good sign of finishing strength. As a coachs note, aiming for a slightly more even effort after the opening kilometre could help her carry that stronger pace deeper into the race.
