That late acceleration moved him from 829th at 4 km to 776th at the line, gaining 53 places over the last kilometre. As a coachs note: the closing speed is a real positive. If he can hold closer to his early pace through kilometres 34, that would likely bring his next 5K down further on a quick evening course like this.
