Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Daire Reilly #94 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Fast Start, Strong Finish, Top-5 Age-Group Result Daire ran 18:30 for 5.00 km, averaging 3:42/km. In a field of 5,624, he placed 156th overall, 58th male, and 5th in the M4145 division. That age-group finish stands out most. At Run The Wharfs evening closed-road 5K through Canary Wharf, he delivered a performance well inside 19 minutes. His pacing was consistent: 3:39, 3:40, 3:45, 3:48, then a closing 3:40. He held 3rd in his age group through 4 km before finishing 5th, so the main opportunity is maintaining the early rhythm a little better in kilometres 3 and 4. The closing kilometre was one of his quickest, which is a good sign of control and finishing strength.
