Fast opening 2K, then pacing faded late Shaiksha Vali ran 5.00 km in 35:27, averaging 7:05/km. He placed 242nd of 3640 men and finished ahead of roughly 40% of the 5,624-runner field. His first 2 km were his strongest: 6:17 for km 1, then 6:49 for km 2, reaching 2 km in 13:05. From there, the pace eased to 7:23 for km 3, and the fourth kilometre accounted for most of the slowdown. A positive note: he still closed the final kilometre and finish stretch more quickly than that section before, gaining places late. On a fast evening 5K through Canary Wharf, the clearest opportunity is to hold the early rhythm deeper into the race, especially through 34 km.
