Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Xavier Eduardo Arboleda Martinez #4326 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Quick Opening Km Set Up a Solid 5K Xavier Eduardo Arboleda Martinez completed the 5K in 42:05, averaging 8:25/km over 5.00 km. His fastest kilometre was the first in 7:05/km, and he reached 2 km in 15:03 before the pace eased. He finished 262nd in the male 3640 division out of a field of 5,624 total runners. The early pace stood out: 7:05, then 7:59/km for the first 2 km, followed by 9:10, 8:03 and 9:50/km. That shows a strong opening and a steadier middle before a slower final kilometre. For the next 5K, aim to bring the first and last kilometres closer together to hold pace more evenly. Run The Wharfs closed-road evening format through Canary Wharf suited a quick start well.
