Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Arun Bhandal #2254 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Strong finish lifted the overall pacing Arun completed the 5K in 39:35, averaging 7:55/km. He placed 285th in the Male 1825 category out of a field of 5,624 participants overall. His opening kilometre was his quickest at 6:48/km, and he closed well with his fastest late-race kilometre at 7:30/km. After kilometres 2 and 3 at 8:43/km and 8:50/km, he steadily improved through the second half, running 7:45/km for kilometre 4 and 7:30/km for kilometre 5. That progression is a useful positive from this evening Canary Wharf race. As a coachs note, the main opportunity is to hold a steadier pace through the middle kilometres; matching more of that late-race rhythm earlier would bring his overall time down.
