Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Johnny Morillo #6757 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Fast Opening 4K Set Up a Solid 5K Finish Johnny ran 5.00 km in 24:48, averaging 4:57/km. He finished 1,235th of 5,624 overall, placing 807th among men and 150th in the mens 3135 division. Through 4 km, he was especially steady: 4:24, 4:23, 4:27, and 4:37, holding 660th overall at both 3 km and 4 km. The key stat was the contrast between his first 4 km and final kilometre. He covered 4 km in 17:50, an average of about 4:28/km, before the last kilometre slowed to 6:58. That early consistency is a strong base. As a coachs note, extending that 4 km rhythm deeper into the race would likely bring his overall time down well at this fast evening Canary Wharf 5K.
