Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Rebecca Placucci #2798 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Strong Finish with Fastest Final Kilometre Rebecca ran 5.00 km in 32:35, averaging 6:31/km. She placed 1,168th of 5,624 women and 363rd in the female 2630 category. Her pacing was steady through 4 km: 6:30, 6:27, 6:49, and 6:41 per km, before closing with her quickest kilometre in 6:08. That finish stands out most: she cut 33 seconds per km from her average pace in the last kilometre and gained places early, moving from 3,071st overall at 1 km to 2,838th at 2 km. On a fast evening 5K through Canary Wharf, the strongest takeaway is her finishing speed. As a coachs note, aiming to hold closer to her early 2 km rhythm through the middle section could bring her overall time down further.
