Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Alexander Rodert #7386 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Quick Start, Solid 5K Finish Alexander completed the 5K in 26:04, averaging 5:12/km. He placed 1,535th of 5,624 overall, 976th among men, and 187th in the mens 3135 category. His fastest kilometre was km 2 in 4:56, and he was through 2 km in 9:57. The race opened well with a 5:02 first kilometre, then improved to that 4:56 second km. From there, pace settled at 5:24, 5:27, and 5:16 across the final 3 km. That shows good early speed and a steadier finish after the halfway point. For the next 5K, aiming to hold km 3 and km 4 closer to the opening 2 km pace would likely bring down the overall time. Run The Wharfs closed-road evening format suited a brisk opening here.
