Quick Start, Then Steady 5K Finish Natasha covered 5.00 km in 32:21, averaging 6:28/km. She opened with her fastest kilometre at 5:55, reached 2 km in 12:27, and 3 km in 19:23. From 2 km onward, her pace settled into a narrow range: 6:33, 6:56, 6:33, and 6:26 per km, showing a largely consistent middle and finish. A useful coaching note: the first kilometre was notably quicker than overall pace, so a slightly more controlled opening could help preserve rhythm deeper into the race. Encouragingly, she closed the final kilometre in 6:26, faster than kilometres 2, 3, and 4. In a big field of 5,624 at this fast evening Canary Wharf 5K, that late response is a solid stat to build on.
