In her category, she was 500th female and 172nd in the female 2630 division. At a fast evening 5K through Canary Wharf, thats a solid, controlled result. Her quickest kilometre was the first in 5:07, followed by a consistent middle section of 5:33, 5:27, and 5:33 before closing in 5:23. That final kilometre was 10 seconds quicker than km 4, a good sign of finishing strength. The main opportunity is pacing: the gap between km 1 and the later kilometres suggests a slightly more even start could help her carry that early speed deeper into the race.
