Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Rhys Pinna-Griffith #2796 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Strong Finish Lifted the Overall Pace Rhys ran 5.00 km in 27:59, averaging 5:35/km. He placed 2015th of 5624 overall, which put him in roughly the top 36% of the field. In the mens field, he was 1233rd, and 343rd in the Male 2630 division. His pacing opened at 5:22/km, then eased through 2 km (5:42) and 3 km (5:53) before settling at 5:44 in the 4th km. The standout stat was the final kilometre: 5:20, his quickest of the race and 33 seconds faster than km 3. He also moved up well by 2 km, reaching 1796th overall at that point. That late rebound is a useful strength; aiming to hold closer to opening pace through the middle kilometres could bring the overall time down further at this fast evening Canary Wharf 5K.
